Join the education staff at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory on Thursday, March 20th, for a the 3rd of our 2025 Twilight Talk Lecture Series. Become a kid for a day and check out our summer camp sampler! Discover activities and learning topics in our space and nature camps. Learn about stars, their life cycles, and how black holes form as we preview portions of our space camp star day. How are reptiles and amphibians similar? How are they different? Explore biofacts and meet animal visitors to discover differences and similarities in our Nature Camp Wildlife week preview. Dive into the world of botany and see all the parts of a flower and learn how they are connected in a hand-on flower dissection in our Bugging Out Nature Camp week preview. This workshop is open to all ages but geared towards adults.

 

The evening will begin at 4:00 p.m. with light appetizers and refreshments, providing a great opportunity to meet the presenters and ask any preliminary questions. The lecture will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Pozzi Education Building.  The lectures will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will be followed by a Q&A session.  

 While donations to support Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory are appreciated, they are not required.

 

The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory is located at 57245 River Road, just off circle 3 on the way to the stables and marina.
