Mushroom Foraging Field Trip

Join us on a search for mushrooms. On this field trip, you’ll receive an introduction to fungi diversity and learn how to identify different types of mushrooms in the forest. You’ll also learn how to identify proper habitats and collect mushrooms. The field trip is limited in capacity and pre-registration is required. Please meet at the Nature Center parking lot by 9:00am. Each individual is responsible for their own transportation to and from the National Forest. Plan to travel up to one hour away from Sunriver along the Cascade Lakes Highway.

You should also bring a wide-bottomed container (bucket, basket) and a sturdy knife or small garden trowel for mushroom collection.
